Jacques Kallis put Bangalore in sight of a victory against Mohali as the South African hit the ball all around the ground.
Robin Uthappa hit the second fastest half-century of IPL before Md Kaif took an easy catch off Bipul Sharma to send him packing.
Uthappa and Kallis did some quick hitting after Piyush Chawla struck to dismiss first wicket in Manish Pandey. Irfan Pathan made no mistake in taking the catch as Pandey missed a half-century by 12 runs.
Earlier, Bisla, Bopara led Mohali to a score of 203/3. Ravi Bopara hit a quick 77 to put Mohali in the driving seat. Praveen Kumar wrapped up Bopara's innings as skipper Anil Kumble took the catch at square leg.
Yuvraj Singh followed soon on Manvinder Bisla's heels as the dasher lost his wicket cheaply to Dale Steyn. It was Morgan who again proved to be safe hands at deep square leg to catch Yuvraj off Steyn.
Bisla hit a quick 75 before Jacques Kallis accounted for the first wicket for Bangalore and sent him packing.
Eoin Morgan did a good job at deep midwicket to make Bisla head back.
Bisla and Bopara had given Mohali a good start after they won the toss and decided to bat first against Bangalore.
Both Bangalore and Mohali are determined to redeem their pride when they meet each other in their IPL match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Bangalore lost their previous match to Kolkata, while Mohali were outplayed by Delhi.
Bangalore's performance against Kolkata was below par in all departments of the game and Mohali's batting completely failed them.
