Chandrasekara Ganapathy was one of the standout performers in the Ranji Trophy in the 2009-10 season. The Tamil Nadu all-rounder caught the eye of selectors when he took a five-wicket haul in the Duleep Trophy final. His batting prowess, on display during the Ranji Trophy Super League, he scored 543 runs at an average of 77.57, got him selected to the Chennai Super Kings squad. His seam bowling and all-round ability should stand him in good stead and could add the right balance to the team.
