The left-handed opening batsman has blossomed not only as one half of a successful partnership with Virender Sehwag but also as an attacking batsman in the Twenty20 format. And he now leads the Daredevils too. He based his comeback into the Indian squad with a string of confident shows in the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa and backed it up with a superb show in the opening edition of the Indian Premier League in 2008. He has raised his game to such a level that he often comes out of the shadow of the only man he will willingly sacrifice his place in a squad for - Sehwag. The ICC Test Player of the Year has what it takes to stamp his presence in the T20 competition too. IPL 2010 could well belong to him.
