Joginder Sharma is a medium-pacer in the Chennai Super Kings’ squad who can trouble the best in business with his steady seam-up bowling. He got into the Indian ODI team for their tour of Bangladesh on the back of two successive hundreds and a ten-wicket haul during the 2004-05 Ranji Trophy season. He has been one of the consistent and star performers for Haryana. He topped the Duleep Trophy bowling averages in the 2005-06 domestic season. Joginder Sharma is best remembered for bowling the last over of the 2007 World T20 against Pakistan. Even as Pakistan needed 13 runs off the final over, Joginder took the last Pakistani wicket of Misbah-ul-Haq to win the game and trophy for India. India and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni had given him the last over in the semi-final against Australia as well and this Haryana lad had taken two wickets to help the team enter the final. Following these last over heroics, he came to be referred as Dhoni's 'Last over specialist' bowler.
