Australia beat England by an innings and 80 runs to win the fourth test within 3 days. The Ashes are now levelled at 1-1. It just took Australia a session & six overs to wrap up the victory.
England were 245 / 8 on the third day at lunch. England failed to resist after lunch & lost the 2 wickets quickly.
England's batting order failed miserably in both innings. In the second innings, it was an unexpected eigth-wicket stand of 108 between Stuart Broad & Graeme Swann.
Earlier, Marcus North's patient century guided Australia to a commanding total of 445 on the second day and Ben Hilfenhaus and Mitchell Johnson claimed five wickets in 44 balls to leave England's hopes in tatters.
England were left at 82 for five in their second innings to leave Australia on the verge of victory.
