Australian Cricketers Association chief, Paul Marsh has come out in support of the BCCI on the WADA clause.
In an interview with 'The Age', Paul Marsh said "Cricket Australia has been aware of our concerns for some time. The whereabouts provisions are less than satisfactory".
The Indian Cricket Board's refusal to signing the WADA clause is because of their objection to the 'whereabouts' clause. Cricketers say this clause of the anti-doping code is very intrusive and invades their personal life.
Marsh was quoted saying they were keeping their eyes & ears open to the WADA-BCCI affair. He said, "The Indians are taking on WADA here and we are watching with interest."
However, given the nature of Australian Cricket & it's board, it's not easy to trust them and believe they are in support of BCCI. Australia & India have always been rivals, on & off the field.
Need to wait & watch the Australians as well as the row.
