Umar Gul was the man of the match taking the only 5 wicket haul in every T- 20 game played so far.Pakistan got to the target very easily scoring 104 run in just 13 over.

Shahid Afridi finished the match scoring 29 runs.With this win last years finalist Pakistan may think of getting to the semifinals.Daniel Vettori took 2 wickets in his first match.

After this huge disastrous loss to Pakistan Bredon McCullam may rethink his strategies if New Zealand were to make it to final just like last T20 world cup.
