Title: Pakistan enter the Finals

Desc:

Pakistan continue their domination in T20 as they first reached finals against India in 2007 and now against the team that wins between Sri Lanka and West Indies.

Batting first  Pakistan scored a modest target of 150 runs. But that proved a little too much for South Africa(the team which hadn't lost a single match before semi finals!!!)

Shahid Afridi's all-round efforts played a starring role as Pakistan beat South Africa by seven runs at Trent Bridge to reach the ICC World Twenty20 Final. Afridi brought up his own 50 off 32 balls to well and truly signal a return to form with the bat.

Afridi picked up 2-16 with the ball to go with a half-century as Pakistan completed an unlikely turnaround in their fortunes after beginning the tournament in shambolic fashion.

AB De Villiers,in form, just scored 1 run and gave away the wicket to boom boom Afridi.

South Africa entered the last 10 overs needing another 87 runs in order to banish their tag of choking in major semi-finals. Kallis brought up his 50 (46 balls) with a boundary off Fawad Alam, who was surprisingly brought into the attack with other more established options available, and then struck the slow left-armer for a six over long-on in an over that cost 15.

Wayne Parnell then carried on his outstanding tournament by having a strong leg before shout against Shahzaib Hasan first ball and then dismissing the opener from his second delivery, well caught off a skier by Roelof van der Merwe at mid-on.

In the end South Africa continued their inability to rise in semifinals and lost the glorius chance to win the semifinals.

Pakistan may now take the revenge of not winning the 2007 world cup!!!!
